Formulated with urinary acidifying properties, restricted magnesium and phosphorus levels, and low protein content, this diet creates an unfavorable environment for struvite crystal precipitation and bacterial growth. The addition of calcium sulfate helps generate and maintain an acidic urine pH range, accelerating the dissolution of existing struvite stones and preventing new crystal aggregation.

Urinary Acidification: Added calcium sulfate acidifies the urine pH (targeting ~6.0?6.3), which promotes the dissolution of magnesium ammonium phosphate (struvite) stones and inhibits crystal formation.

Restricted Mineral Content: Low levels of magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium reduce the concentration of precursor building blocks required for struvite uroliths.

Controlled Moderate Protein: Moderated protein levels reduce urinary urea content, curbing the risk of urease-producing bacterial proliferation.

Anti-Inflammatory Action: Enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) from fish oil to soothe lower urinary tract inflammation.
